Do EVERYTHING that I WOULD do (uh-oh), -- make sure you know a very good bonds bailman, or even better yet, have a good friend who is a police officer -- and bring the house DOWN!

Thank you for the sweet ping. How thoughtful. My weekend? Blah. Earlier this week I was dragged off to Carmel for dinner on the spur of the moment. That was great because when we got home I slept like a log. This weekend I want to do NOTHING.

As you know it's been nice and warm, but not too warm in the Bay Area; it's been just right. Since the cancer surgery I am not permitted to do anything, not even housework, unless it's light housework. I can't even lift. So, this weekend, I WOULD like to so some light housework, and enjoy some sun. Some friends have invited me over, but they some to WATCH me, looking for me to do something I'm not supposed to be doing, while they have fun. I won't be WATCHED. Better to stay home. I see my doctor on the 26th or 27th and maybe then I get paroled (from house arrest.) After that, maybe the fun begins -- right in time for the 4th of July.

One of my friends has a yearly big bash/swimming party, but I would like to see family. My sister is moving back to Alaska, and I am supposed to be headed to New Jersey/Philly, assuming my doctor gives the okay. However, if he learns about the travel plans he just might say, "no" on GP. I just won't tell him then.

What about you? Any plans?

No prob, some lovely pictures...actually some very sexy ones too.

Question, you did a great article on the waste of farm subsidies but then I see a comment about bad Repubs fighting FDR's government waste in the 1930s...didn't you see a similarity between FDRs programs and the last 7 decades of subsidies?
